Terms and conditions
These terms apply to Lulu Torio’s makeup and hair services and to the use of this site. By holding a date you accept these terms.
Who provides the service
Lulu Torio, a professional makeup artist based in Mexico City, and the team who work with her at each event or production.
Quotes
The site’s cotizador sends a request: it doesn’t hold the date or commit you to anything. Lulu replies with availability, what the service includes and its price.
Prices aren’t published because they depend on the date, the place, the number of people and the services. The quote says how long it is valid.
Holding the date and payments
The date is held once the deposit (or the full price, if so agreed) is confirmed. Until then the date stays open to others.
The balance is paid before the event, through the same payment link and by the date your quote gives. In group bookings, each person pays their part before the deadline on their link; anything unpaid by then moves to the organizer’s balance.
Payments are made on Stripe’s secure page (card, SPEI or OXXO; interest-free instalments where offered). This site never receives or stores your card details. If you need an invoice (factura), ask for it when you pay.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to change the date, write as soon as you can. If the new date is free, the deposit moves to it once.
If you cancel, the deposit isn’t refunded, because it held a date that was no longer offered to others. Anything paid beyond the deposit is refunded if you cancel at least 14 days ahead.
If Lulu has to cancel for reasons beyond her control, she offers another makeup artist from the team to the same standard or refunds everything you paid.
On the day
We need a space with good light (natural, ideally), a table, a chair and a power outlet nearby, as the cotizador asks.
The schedule is planned back from the time you need to be ready. If the service starts late for reasons outside the team’s control, there may not be time for everything agreed; extra time you ask for is charged separately.
Travel outside Mexico City, arriving the night before and accommodation are quoted separately when needed.
Your skin’s health
Tell us about allergies, sensitivities, skin treatments or contact lenses in your beauty profile before the event. We use it to choose products that are safe for you.
When in doubt we do a patch test or don’t use the product. We aren’t responsible for reactions to ingredients we weren’t told about.
Advertising, film and series
For productions the service is quoted per shoot day, with kit and continuity. Overtime, call-time changes and image rights follow the quote or the production’s contract.
Photos of your makeup
Lulu may photograph her work for her portfolio and social media. She only posts photos showing a person with their permission, and never from private services or when you ask her not to.
This site
The portfolio photos belong to their photographers and to Lulu Torio, and appear with their credits. They may not be copied or used without permission.
The productions in the reel are shown with their rights holders’ permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Mexico City, without prejudice to your consumer rights before Profeco.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the current version will always be on this page. Your booking follows the version in force on the day you held your date.
